Learn about Country
Resources
Learn about country empowers every learner from Preschool to high school to connect with and learn more about Aboriginal cultures with the contents in our resource packs.
It's well documented that our schools in Low SES, rural/regional & remote areas have limited access to quality & authentic Aboriginal educational resources for their students.
The Learn About Country program helps achieve The Deadly Ed Foundation's mission of ensuring anyone, anywhere, can access free quality & authentic Aboriginal education.
Our curriculum-aligned resource packs contain over 50 resources, all sourced/manufactured by First Nations businesses and backed with designed lesson plans, activities & guides to ensure any educator, no matter their prior knowledge, can effectively embed Aboriginal perspectives into their classroom.
Why donate to this program?
Donating to this program covers the development, manufacturing and distribution of these resource packs to learners across Australia. A donation of $1000 enables a class of 30 students to access a pack of over 50 culturally appropriate resources for their classroom.
